This drain cleaner is ideal for minor tasks as well as stubborn and frequent clogs that don't warrant a costly plumbing service visit. The enclosed drum with a protective casing ensures maximum safety, and users should always wear eye protection and work gloves while operating the tool.

Unclog Most Household Drains Without Professional Training The Drainx Spinfeed Drum Auger can unclog most household drain clogs without requiring professional training. Users should read the instruction manual and wear the recommended safety equipment.

The tool features a center-balanced grip that improves control and offers effortless operation. It can be operated manually or with an attached drill motor (drill not included).

Operating Instructions The drain auger should be held within 4 inches of the drain opening. If this is not possible, provide cable support with a pipe of similar size to prevent curling or twisting. Insert the snake into the drain opening as far as it will go, ensuring a minimum of one foot of cable is inside the drain.

If using a drill, set it to a low speed of less than 500 rpm. Place one hand on the handle with the trigger and the other on the drill handle or the auger knob for manual use. Turn the drum clockwise, as indicated by the arrow on the back, and squeeze the trigger to advance the cable into the drain.

The cable can also be rapidly fed or retracted by manually pushing or pulling. Advance the cable until the clog is reached. If the cable stops turning, do not continue to spin and advance at the same time. Spin the cable without advancing or advance it very slowly to help break up the clog.

When the drain is cleaned, turn the drum counterclockwise while squeezing the trigger to retract the cable.
